'Batavia's Moonlight Misadventure' print

This print features an original watercolour painting depicting the VOC Batavia’s ill-fated night in June 1629. Mistaking the reflection of water on concealed reefs for moonlight, the ship struck the reef at full sail, tearing open its hull.
