'Batavia's Nemesis' print

This print features an original watercolour painting of the VOC Batavia as it sailed along the Western Australian coastline. In June 1629, the ship, under the control of a mutinous crew, met its fate when it struck the many concealed reefs lining the shore, which proved to be its ultimate downfall.
