Saskia, a fictional 17th-century Dutch woman, stands on a remote atoll off the Western Australian coast, her eyes fixed on the wreckage of the VOC Batavia, the ship on which she had been a passenger. Scattered in the foreground are fragments of blue and white china, now exhibited at the Shipwrecks Museum in Fremantle. This elegant bookmark measures 5cm by 15cm and is crafted from 360 GSM card with an anti scuff laminate finish, complemented by a refined golden tassel.
