'Batavia, Blindsided' Greeting Card

The Batavia’s rapid voyage along the Western Australian shoreline was abruptly ended by a concealed reef, which ripped apart its hull beneath the surface. This image, reproduced from an original watercolor painting, captures the unforeseen calamity that led to the sinking of the Dutch East Indies ship in 1629. Presented on an A6 card, it is blank inside and accompanied by a natural-colored envelope. Also offered as a print.
